(1) Shared some of our History Haiku poems;
(2) Watched America: The Story Of Us - Westward (12:00 - 29:00);
(3) Started Ch. 8 Key Terms (1-6); and
(4) Passed around the cotton artifact and talked about it.

Day 11 - September 23, 2013

Today we:
(1) Finished Ch. 6 Key Terms and PPT;
(2) Watched the James Madison Presidents video;
(3) Watched the James Monroe Presidents video;
(4) Reviewed our progress on 1st Quarter Walkaway Concepts up to this point; and
(5) Were given the assignment to do 2 Haiku poems on anything we've learned about so far this quarter.

(1) Turned in our Map assignment;
(2) Watched the Presidents video on Thomas Jefferson;
(3) Watched the Lewis and Clark video and did the video questions; and
(4) Discussed the video.

Day 9 - September 17, 2013

(1) Watched the Presidents video about George Washington;
(2) Turned in Chs. 3 & 4 Key Terms and Ch. 5 Crossword;
(3) Did Ch. 6 Key Terms and PPT (1-7);
(4) Looked at the Lewis and Clark maps on the board; and
(5) Did the Map Activity.

Day 8 - September 13, 2013

(1) Finished watching America: The Story Of Us - Revolution clip;
(2) Had the Ch. 5 Lecture and PPT; and
(3) Received and worked on the Ch. 5 (Constitution) Crossword Puzzle.

(2) Watched part of the video clip 'French and Indian War to Lexington eleven minutes';
(3) Covered Ch. 4 Key Terms (11-19) and PPT; and
(4) Watched America: The Story Of Us - Rebels (20:00 - 46:00).
