(1) Finished the Cold War notes and PPT; and
(2) Watched 'The Century: America's Time - 1953-1960 - Happy Days.'

Day 66 (March 22 & 25)

Today we:
(1) Worked on Cold War key terms (22 - 29);
(2) Watched 'The Century: America's Time - 1946-1952 - Best Years (Chapters 4 - 6); and
(3) Played the McCarthyism game (about the Red Scare).

Day 65 (March 20 & 21)

Today we:
(1) Continued with Cold War terms and PPT (14 - 21);
(2) Assigned a due date and clarified the Decades Project (due April 9 & 10); and
(3) Finished the 1950s Rock and Roll packet.

Day 64 (March 18 & 19)

Today we:
(1) Continued with Cold War key terms and PPT (8-13);
(2) Watched The Century: America's Time: 1946-1952 - Best Years (Chapters 1-3);
(3) Continued the 1950s Rock and Roll unit and PPT; and
(4) Introduced the Decades Project and assigned topics to students.

Day 63 (March 14 & 15)

Today we:
(1) Did an intro into the Cold War;
(2) Started doing the Cold War key terms and PPT (1-7); and
(3) Started the Rock and Roll Unit (1950s), with PPT and video clips.

Day 62 (March 12 & 13)

Today we:
(1) Finished watching the documentary 'Price For Peace';
(2) Finished our WWII Notes and PPT - (discussed the Holocaust); and
(3) Viewed some WWII artifacts (Holocaust items and German newspaper).

Day 61 (March 8 &11)

Today we:
(1) Introduced and started watching 'Price For Peace' about the war in the Pacific.

Days 59 & 60 (March 5: ACT Day, March 6 & 7)

Today (March 5) we:
(1) Heard a story in 4th Period because it was ACT Day and classes were short.

Today (March 6 & 7) we:
(1) Took a short quiz on WWII notes taken up to this point; and
(2) Went over WWII Notes and PPT about the War in the Pacific.

Day 58 (March 1 & 4)

Today we:
(1) Finished working on our WWII Propaganda posters; and
(2) Continued working on WWII Notes and PPT.
