Day 35 (December 11 & 12)

Today we:
(1) Covered Chapter 18 (Imperialism) and viewed the PPT. Chapter 18 dealt with American expansionism, the Spanish-American War, Hearst and Pulitzer, Teddy Roosevelt, and the Panama Canal, among other things;
(2) Viewed and quickly discussed the Newsies PPT; and
(3) Started watching the movie 'Newsies.'
